For Animal Emergencies, call your veterinarian or veterinary emergency hospital. For Animal Service emergencies after hours, contact the Sheriff’s Office at 559-675-7769.
At Madera County Animal Services, we use 24 PetWatch for our microchip supplier. These microchips are electronic devices that are implanted in the animals that are adopted from us. They can be detected by other shelters and most veterinarians should your animal become separated from you.
It is very important that should you move, change your contact information, or the animal goes to a new home, that the ownership information is kept current. Without current information, the pet cannot be reunited with its owner. To update your information for your pet that has a 24 PetWatch microchip, please contact www.24PetWatch.com.
