The Madera County Mental Health Board meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to approximately 1:00 p.m. Meetings are usually held in the 2nd Floor Conference Room at the Madera County Government Center, 200 W. 4th Street, in Madera. All meetings are open to the public and residents who have an interest in public funded behavioral health treatment services in Madera are encouraged to attend.
Board members are appointed by the Madera County Board of Supervisors. Among other things, the Board participates in the planning process, advises the County Behavioral Health Services Director and the Board of Supervisors on aspects of the County Behavioral Health Programs and reviews community behavioral health needs, services, facilities and special programs.

The Madera County Alcohol & Drug Advisory Board meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 12:00 noon. to approximately 1:30 p.m. Meetings are usually held in the Shebulut Room at the Madera Community Hospital, 1250 E. Almond Ave, in Madera. All meetings are open to the public and residents who have an interest in public funded alcohol and drug treatment services in Madera are encouraged to attend.
Board members are appointed by the Madera County Board of Supervisors. Among other things, the Board participates in the planning process, advises the County Behavioral Health Services Director and the Board of Supervisors on aspects of the County Alcohol and Drug Programs and reviews community needs, services, facilities and special programs.
