1.24.010 Establishment.

The board of supervisors of the County of Madera, State of California, does divide the county into five supervisorial districts in compliance with Chapter 6 (commencing at Section 21500) of Division 21 of the Elections Code of the State of California. These districts are numerically designated in sequence from one to five and are described and delineated as follows in this chapter. 1.24.020 Supervisorial District No. 1.

The following described boundary is based on the Mount Diablo Base and Meridian: BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the centerline of the San Joaquin River and the south line of Section 15, Township 9 South, Range 22 East; Thence west one-half mile, more or less, to the southwest corner of Section 15, Township 9 South, Range 22 East; Thence north three miles to the northwest corner of Section 3, Township 9 South, Range 22 East;
