2.33.010 Established.
The board of supervisors establishes a community redevelopment commission
pursuant to Section 33201 of the Health and Safety Code, consisting of ten
members. (Ord. 319 § 1, 1967).
2.33.020 Membership--Appointment--Term.
Two members shall be appointed from each of the supervisorial districts.
The term of each member shall be for a period of two years; provided that the
first commission shall have one of each of the two members from each
supervisorial district appointed for a one year term. (Ord. 319 § 2,
1967).
2.33.030 Membership--Removal.
Any member of the community redevelopment commission may be removed by the
board of supervisors at any time upon a four-fifths vote of the board of
supervisors. (Ord. 319 § 3, 1967).
2.33.040 Conflict of interest.
No number of the community redevelopment commission shall acquire any
interest in any property included within a project area. (Ord. 319 § 4,
1967).
2.33.050 Disclosure of interest.
Each member of the community redevelopment commission who owns or has any
direct or indirect financial interest in such property referred to in Section
2.33.040 shall immediately make a written disclosure of it to the board of
supervisors. (Ord. 319 § 5, 1967).
2.33.060 Redevelopment plan--Advisory functions of commission.
The community redevelopment commission shall prepare a redevelopment plan
for each project area, hold and conduct hearings thereon, adopt and submit such
plan, together with a report, to the board of supervisors. The community
redevelopment commission shall also perform such advisory functions as may be
delegated to it by the board of supervisors. (Ord. 319 § 6,
