2.69.010 System adopted.

For the general welfare and in order to afford greater social security and the material advantages of group insurance for all of the officers and employees of the county, a system of group health and accident insurance is hereby adopted. (Ord. 180 § 1, 1940).

2.69.030 Premiums--Deduction from payroll.

The premiums for the group insurance benefits applied for by individual officers and employees shall be deducted by the county auditor as a payroll deduction from the compensation of the individual officers and employees who have applied for such benefits. Such deduction shall be made to the extent authorized in writing by such individual officers and employees. (Ord. 180 § 3, 1940).

2.69.040 Premiums--Payment by warrant.

The total amount deducted for all such premiums shall be paid monthly in one warrant drawn on the county treasurer to the order of the insurance company which has entered the contract to furnish the benefits applied for. (Ord. 180 § 4, 1940).
