This chapter shall apply to the levy of new fees or to the increase of existing fees, pursuant to the provision of Section 54985, et seq., of the Government Code of the state of California. (Ord. 577 § 1(part), 2000).

There is imposed a new fee or an increase in existing fees as provided in the following subsections:
The county of Madera Revenue Services Division shall charge a thirty dollar administrative fee (thirty-five dollars on installment payment accounts) on all accounts received by the division for collection from other county of Madera departments. The division shall collect interest at the legal rate of interest on such accounts. Provided, however, this subsection shall not apply to Madera County court accounts. (Ord. 577 § 1(part), 2000).
