A. Beginning January 1, 2008, no licensed Branch 1 structural pest controller licensee, structural pest control operator, field representative, applicator, or company registered with the structural pest control board shall conduct fumigations of any structure within the county of Madera without first having registered for the current calendar year with the county agricultural commissioner-sealer, with such registration to be made in the form prescribed by the California Department of Pesticide Regulation. Such persons shall appear in person at the office of the county agricultural commissioner-sealer to complete the registration.
B. Beginning January 1, 2008, no licensed Branch 2 or Branch 3 structural pest control operator qualifying manager or company registered with the structural pest control board shall operate any structural pest control business within the county of Madera without first having registered for the current calendar year with the county agricultural commissioner-sealer, with such registration to be made in the form prescribed by the California Department of Pesticide Regulation. The county agricultural commissioner-sealer may require the applicant to register in person.
C. Each registration described in this section shall be good through December 31st of the year for which the registration is issued. (Ord. 630 § 1(part), 2008).

A. All businesses and licensees described in Section 5.25.010 shall pay a fee to the agricultural commissioner-sealer, to be collected with the annual registration and with any amendments to current registrations.
B. For those businesses and licensees operating as of January 1, 2008, payment shall be made before March 1, 2008.
C. The fees shall be set by resolution of the board of supervisors, and may be updated from time to time, but shall not exceed the actual costs of processing the registrations. (Ord. 630 § 1(part), 2008).

No company registered with the structural pest control board or structural pest control operator shall conduct fumigation of any structure within the county of Madera without providing written notice to the county agricultural commissioner-sealer at least twenty-four hours in advance of the fumigation. Such notice shall include the name and address of the registered company or structural pest control operator, the address of the area or areas to be fumigated, the pesticide to be used, and the date of intended uses. The county agricultural commissioner-sealer may levy a civil penalty against any person who violated any of the provisions of this chapter in accordance with the procedures provided in the California Food and Agricultural Code. (Ord. 630 § 1(part), 2008).
