All card games or other games and devices played for money, or other things of value, or for checks, credit or other tokens of value, not already prohibited or made unlawful by any law of the state, are prohibited in those areas of Madera County not within the city limits of the city of Madera and the city of Chowchilla. (Ord. 410 § 1(part), 1975).

No person shall deal, play, carry on, or aid or abet the playing of any prohibited games for the purpose of gambling or bets on or against any game or device for money, check, credit or other thing or representative of value on the chance of winning or getting anything of value. (Ord. 410 § 1(part), 1975).

No person shall knowingly permit any of the games or devices prohibited by this chapter to be conducted or operated in any building or upon any premises owned, rented or controlled by him. (Ord. 410 § 1(part), 1975).

The penalty for violations of this chapter shall be as prescribed in Chapter 1.12 of this code. (Ord. 410 § 1(part), 1975).
