This chapter shall be known as the “Off-street Parking Facilities Ordinance.” The purpose of this chapter is to make the provisions of Vehicle Code Sections 22350, 22507.8, 23103, 23109, and the provisions of Division 16.5, commencing with Section 38000, applicable to privately owned and maintained off-street parking facilities located within the county. Vehicle Code Sections 21458, 22350, 22500, 22500.1, 22507.8, 23101, 23109 and the provisions of Division 16.5, commencing with Section 38000 of the Vehicle Code, shall apply to the following privately owned and maintained off-street parking facilities located within the county:

Farmer’s Roundup Cafe, 7112 Highway 145, Madera, CA 93637;

Farnesi’s Restaurant, Highway 99 & Avenue 16, Madera, CA 93637;

Foot-Hill Market, Road 145 and Road 26, Friant (Madera Side), CA 93626;

Golden Oak Mall, Highway 41, Oakhurst, CA 93644;

Golden Oak Village Shopping Center, Highway 41 and Highway 49, Oakhurst, California 93644;

Junction 90, Intersection of Highways 41 and 49, Oakhurst, California 93644;

Midway Market & Shopping Center, Highway 41, Oakhurst, CA 93644;

Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 10.20.020, this chapter shall not apply to any privately owned and maintained off-street parking facility unless the owner or operator of the facility has caused to be posted in a conspicuous place at each entrance to such off-street parking facility a notice, not less than seventeen inches by twenty-two inches in size with lettering not less than one inch in height, to the effect that such off--street parking facility is subject to public traffic regulations and control as provided by this chapter.
