The supplier shall furnish a certificate if requested by the county engineer, for those items for which a certificate is requested. The certificate shall state that all pipe, valves, fittings, tanks, and protective coatings comply with the specifications in this article. (Ord. 383 § 260, 1974).

All cast iron bell and spigot fittings shall conform to either AWWA C100-55 (Standard, Class D, 173 psi), or AWWA C110-52 (Short-Body, 3 inch to 12 inch, 250 psi). Class D or class 150 is the minimum class acceptable. All cast iron fittings installed below ground shall be lined and coated in accordance with Section 13.18.030. (Ord. 383 § 261, 1974).

All cast iron pipe flanged fittings shall conform to ASA B16. 4-1949, and be lined and coated in accordance with Section 13.18.030. (Ord. 383 § 262, 1974).

All steel pipe fittings shall have a minimum well thickness not less than the steel pipe specified. Dimensions of the fittings shall conform to AWWA C208-59. All steel fittings installed below ground shall be protected in the manner as the pipe to which they are attached. (Ord. 383 § 263, 1974).

All asbestos-cement water pipe fittings shall comply with AWWA C400-64T. (Ord. 383 § 264, 1974).
