All steel tanks, reservoirs, and elevated tanks for water storage shall comply with AWWA D100-67 or API Standards provided that they meet all foundation and seismic requirements of the Building Code of the county. (Ord. 383 § 360, 1974).

All painting and repainting of steel tanks, standpipes, reservoirs, and elevated tanks for water storage, shall comply with AWWA D102-55T. The final color of any facility shall be approved by the county engineer. (Ord. 383 § 361, 1974).
