17.64.010 Violations.

It is unlawful for any person, as a principal, agent or otherwise, to sell, lease, transfer, lien, to offer for sale, to contract to sell, or to cause or permit to be sold, or offered for sale, any portion of any division of land, improved or unimproved, in the county, in violation of any of the provisions of this article. 17.64.020 Penalty for violation.

The penalty for violations of this article shall be as prescribed in Chapter 1.12 of this code. (Ord. 278N § 14(part), 2004: Ord. 378 § 2(part), 1973: Ord. 278 § 1101, 1963).

17.64.030 Voidability.

Pursuant to the authority of Section 66499.32 of the Government Code of the state, as to divisions of land regulated herein which are not “subdivisions” under the Subdivision Map Act, it is hereby provided that any deed or conveyance, sale or contract to sell, made contrary to the provisions of this article is voidable to the extent and in the same manner as provided in Section 66499.32 of the Government Code of the state.
