The Madera Method
The goal of the Madera Method Program is to teach students reading, writing, and history through researching historical projects, then publishing their works.

Madera County Board of Equalization
As such, it is charged with equalizing the valuation of the taxable property for the purpose of taxation and conducting hearing on assessment appeals.

Madera County Flood Control and Water Conservation Agency
The purpose of this Agency is to govern County-wide water conservation, development of water resources, control of drainage, storm, flood and other waters. It provides for the conservation, development, control and use of water for public good and protection of life and property.

Maintenance Districts and Service Areas
The Board serves as Directors of subdivided areas for 49 Maintenance Districts and 21 Services Areas to administer projects, budget and expenditure of funds for the purposes of roads, lighting, sewer, water, fire and recreation.
