MOBILEHOME ACCESSORY BUILDINGS
AND STRUCTURES*

14.28.010 Definitions.
A. "Mobilehome" means a vehicle, other than a
motor vehicle used as semipermanent housing, designed for
human habitation, for carrying persons and property

Code Title 25, Chapter 5 (March 30, 1971); for the authority
to adopt codes by reference, see Gov. Code §50022.1
et seq.
on its own structure, and for being drawn by a motor vehicle
and includes a trailer coach.*
B. I'Mobilehome accessory building or structure" means
any awning, portable, demountable or permanent cabana, ramada,
storage cabinet, carport, fence, windbreak or porch established
for the use of the occupancy of the mobilehome. (Ord. 367
§60, 1972).
14.28.020 Construction and
occupancy standards. A. The standards set forth
in Title 25, California Administrative Code, Chapter 5,
in effect on July 1, 1974, is adopted by reference and is
applicable to and shall govern the occupancy of all mobilehomes
and mobilehouse accessory structures within the unincorporated
areas of the county, except such use and construction in
mobilehome parks, recreation trailer parks or labor camps
which are subject to regulation by the Department of Housing
and Community Development of the state of California.
B. During the period of occupancy of the mobilehome and
accessory building, any hazardous condition or state of
disrepair of the mechanical or electrical installation which
is not immediately corrected upon demand of the building
official shall constitute sufficient cause for its disconnection.
if such service is obtained from a secondary source, said
source is subject to disconnection.
C. In the event an accessory structure no longer serves
a mobilehome, then such structure shall be made to conform
to the occupancy classification as determined by the building
official in accQrdance with the Uniform Building Code. (Ord.
367-A §16, 1975; Ord. 367 §70, 1972).
14.28.030 Fees for mobilehome
inspection. The following schedule of fees is appliFa-ble
for all mobilehome inspections except for providing utility
connections:
