County of Madera

California

Statement of Values

The basic tenet of our organization is to provide the best possible service to the public.

We believe citizens of Madera County are entitled to live safe and secure lives, free from the fear of crime, gangs, drugs and violence. To that end, as a primary law enforcement agency, we strive to execute the best and most effective means available to our Department when taking both proactive and protective measures.

We believe that in the event of an emergency or disaster, we are prepared to respond with immediacy; and with continued extensive training, we can minimize loss of life and property.

We believe our Department's stringent, thorough and careful hiring practices, enables us to recruit and manage a staff of fully trained and highly motivated sworn personnel.
