Rick and his wife Jan (Pira) Farinelli are life-long Madera residents and graduates of our local schools. They have reared three wonderful and successful adult children who along with their spouses all live in Madera. Rick and Jan are also the proud grandparents of five. Rick Farinelli is "Madera" through-and-through. He understands that Madera's future is indeed OUR future.
Rick has served in numerous volunteer capacities mostly in the business sector to expand local business and bring new jobs to Madera. However, probably his most rewarding volunteer "job" was as a long-time youth soccer coach.
Rick Farinelli brings a fresh, no-nonsense business approach to our County. His many years as a management executive for Georgia Pacific combined with his small business background provide him with the experience, knowledge, and expertise to balance budgets and address the many challenges of the future.
Reared on a family farm in Madera, the grandson of immigrants; Rick understands sacrifice, hard work and dedication. Rick served our country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He is a patriot, parent and professional. His sole interest in this position is to serve Madera and help make our community a better place to live, work and play.
