Beginning Monday July 31, 2006 the New Government Center Parking Structure located at 200 North “G” Street, between Fourth Street and Yosemite Avenue, will have levels 2 through 4 open for Public and County Employee parking.
Work will continue on “G” Street and the New Government Center Building and the Contractor will be using the lower level (entry level) of the parking structure for construction purposes through January 2007. However, the Handicap parking stalls located just inside the parking structure entrance will be available to the public.
Be advised that “G” Street will remain one way until the project is completed and traffic will still be affected by the construction process, therefore caution should be used when entering and exiting the parking structure.
Please note that the shuttle service between the Wal-Mart parking lot and the existing Government Center will be terminated on July 31, 2006.
