Food Stamps is a Federally Funded program that supplements a low-income family’s food budget in order to ensure they are getting adequate nutrition. The program name is Food Stamps but beneficiaries no longer receive their benefits in stamps. Instead they receive them electronically on an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card. For more information on EBT go to: http://www.ebtproject.ca.gov.
If your EBT Card is lost or stolen please call: 1-877-328-9677.
California Food Assistance Program (CFAP) is a state-funded program for legal permanent non-citizens legally present in the U.S. and determined ineligible for federal food stamp benefits solely due to their immigration status.
